MEET GINA

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I developed a kinship with our natural spaces at an early age. There is something truly special here - something worth saving, yet also worth sharing and making it accessible to everyone, so they too can fall in love with it. It’s only through that affinity that the reverence for nature is sparked, and the desire to preserve and become a steward is ignited.

If you’re like me and don’t feel truly at home until you cross the Columbia River, see Tahoma out your window as your plane descends into Sea-Tac, or anchor into one of the many ports in the Salish Sea, then you understand the deep connection we have to this region - a connection that calls us to protect and preserve it.

I believe that if we are safe, warm, well-fed, and accepted by society, we have a responsibility to show up for those who are endangered, cold, hungry, and marginalized. With this belief, I dedicate my work to supporting causes that center around animals and nature and ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to experience the outdoors. But beyond that, equity and inclusivity in any space—whether environmental, social, or artistic—are fundamental to creating a world where we all belong.

Throughout my career, I’ve written grants to support accessibility and inclusivity across a wide range of initiatives—from school programs and youth environmental stewardship, wildlife sanctuaries, and habitat preservation efforts. The causes I’m most passionate about are reflected in the photos below, but if your organization falls outside these areas, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d love to hear more about your mission, tell your story, or help you increase your presence, widen your audience, or help you prepare you for grant-readiness.
