Dedicating one’s time and life’s work to serving endangered, disenfranchised, and vulnerable animals is a profound act of stewardship. Grant writing is my way of stewarding these causes, ensuring they have the support they deserve.
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I developed a deep kinship with animals at an early age. Surrounded by the wildlife of this region, I came to understand how vital animals are — not only for the ecosystems they sustain, but for the sense of wonder and belonging they inspire in us. That spark to protect and care for animals has guided my path ever since.
Today, I focus on supporting organizations that center animals, standing alongside those who work to rescue animals from abuse, neglect, and abandonment, or to defend their habitats against encroachment.
